Algae prevention tips:
1) Water balance is the key. Test water regularly and maintain proper pH range of 7.2 – 7.8 ppm.
2) Clean pump, filter and skimmer. Remove organic matter from pool water.
3) Limit fertilizer on grass near your pool. Fertilizers feed algae!
4) After rain or heavy pool use add a shock to the water.
5) Keep up-to-date: Replace Mineral Reservoir every spring or 6 months, whichever comes first, and replace Bac Pac® as needed.

We have used the frog system for maybe 10 years now. I love it. My skin is sensitive to chlorine so I wanted something as natural as possible. This is it. No chlorine smell. So red dry itchy skin. It is great. Only thing is that the stores here don't carry the bam. And last year we had a horrible time getting the pool clear as the pool places just want to sell you all kinds of stuff so the pool was too high of stuff, then too low then too high. I am ordering the bam online this year and hope that we get a nice clear pool from the start since we will be using the right stuff.

No pool boy required... I don’t know if that’s really a good or bad thing 😆 The system is so easy I can maintain the pool myself. I recently stopped adding algaecide weekly & switched to Frog BAM - excited to have one less thing to worry about for a few months. We use the 5400 model for our in-ground. The most common question I get from friends is about pool maintenance... “isn’t it a lot of work?” Nope. So EASY with this system.

Simply insert upside down into the POOL FROG Mineral Reservoir, set the dial on the Cycler to 10 or Maximum and wait one hour for BAM to evenly distribute throughout the pool. Then sit back and enjoy 90 days of algae free pool water!
Yes! And it’s easy. Open FROG BAM and pour it directly into the pool around the perimeter, with the circulation on for 1 hour. Use 1 bottle per 15K gallons.
