You’ll never have to handle or measure pool chemicals, because everything you need comes in pre-filled cartridges.
Additional Information
The POOL FROG Model 6100 Fresh Mineral Water pool system utilizes our patented formula of sanitizing minerals along with a LOW level of chlorine to destroy bacteria. All components are introduced into the water via the Cycler, installed after your pools pump and filter. The Mineral Reservoir is inserted first and lasts all summer, while the chlorine Bac Pac®s fit inside the Mineral Reservoir and are dialed in to your pool’s exact needs. Less waste. Less work. Leaves your pool for nothing but fun!

We LOVE our pool frog. This is the 1st time using it this year and our water has been crystal clear all season long and the water is so soft that we get compliments all the time on how soft and clear the water is. We had a salt water system before and our Pool Frog is amazing not to mention salt is corrosive. I Strongly recommened. 5 Stars for me

We have owned the system since the pool was installed, which is about 12 years ago. There are positives as well as negatives. It’s nice to not to have to replace the system every 2 or 3 years, also parts last a longer time and don’t need to be replaced as often. Decidedly cost saving features. Ah, but then the downside, The control lever meant to adjust the amount of chlorine feed has been stuck on the same number for at least 8 years. I didn’t replace it because it ironically froze on the right amount to maintain the chlorine level. Another problem is changing the canisters in the Frog. The top is hard to open and close and there is always a small leak, which fortunately tends to stop after a couple of days. Yes, the canisters are convenient, but they don’t contain all of the minerals and chemials to eliminte other problems, so despite the claim I still have to add different chemicals (at a not so cheap price) to the water. While the claim that the frog reduces the labor is clearly true for some of the issues, it does not resolve the others. From my point of view. It is a nice idea and perhaps wins on the labor saving and cost side of chemical additives causing labor and cost. But is is not the end it all solution. Would I replace it? I have not reviewed the market place to determine if there are better and less costly alternatives to the product; so I can’t say that I wouldn’t change the system. All in all if asked by a potential buyer if I would recommend it my honest answer is yes, with of course the revelation of the issues that come with the product.

Had for 14 years and still works. You have to fill the chlorine canister with water to get it to operate right.

We love our pool Frog system. It makes maintaining the pool so easy. The only problem we’ve had was due to an abnormal amount of rain and it totally messed up the PH in the water. As soon as we got that straightened out, we were back to normal operation and crystal clear water.

We started the frog system upon the first opening of our pool and I cant say enough about this system. We spend alot of time away from home and we never have to worry about our pool with this system. We set it and forget it. The mineral system is also great in eliminating the high chlorine, it makes your skin feel great doesnt fade your liner and theres no strong chlorine smell. I am so glad we started with this system and I have since turned 2 other people onto the system. Recommend highly to anyone.

I have the Frog Model 6100 and its been stuck where I cant dial to the correct setting. So right now its set between 4 and 6. I have tried to get someone to tell me how to correct the problem but I am unsuccessful. Think this is my last season using the FROG

Diane, I am sorry to hear about your stuck control dial, I know that can be frustrating.
The control dial can be loosened by lubricating the control dial and then removing it from the unit and using a silicone based lubricant on the threads. You also can remove the control dial by removing the piece from the backside of the unit and then with a palm hitting the control dial from the back it should come out the front.
I hope this helps, feel free to follow up with any questions you may have.

Have been having issues with being able to keep chlorine level low, no matter what i set the dial at the level is still high, also ha e a heck of a time getting the top to seal properly after changing the chlorine pak, very difficult to secure the top without leaking. Bought and replaced the gasket in the lid but still ha ing the issue, last year i replaced the small silicone piece to control the chlorine flow which worked last season but have issue again this year. Loved the product until all this, will probably end up replacing the 6 year old system with a new on next season.

Started using the Frog system a about 10 years ago. Prior to that, we were always having issues with algae. Since switching to the Frog, we have not had any issues with the pool chemistry,…..ever. We could not be more thrilled with the results 😀. It works as advertised!! Customers for the life of our pool.
