Additional Information

The FROG Leap pool sanitizing system uses a combination of minerals and a LOW level of chlorine that creates Fresh Mineral Water. It starts with the Infuzer® that is installed after the pump and filter. Then the Anti-Bac Mineral Pac® is inserted inside with minerals that destroy bacteria all summer long. The Torpedo Pac® goes in next and precisely dispenses the small amount of chlorine needed for each pool. Everything is pre-filled so no more touching or measuring out chemicals. Simply replace the Torpedo Pac every 1-3 weeks when empty and the Anti-Bac Mineral Pac every 6 months. You simply relax and enjoy your pool!

How would I get started with FROG Leap?

Your dealer would help you install a FROG Leap Infuzer on your pool and supply you with the FROG Leap pacs that go inside. After that, it’s easy!  Simply replace the pacs when needed.

Which pacs fit the FROG Leap system?

Mineral: FROG Leap Anti-Bac Mineral Pac
Chlorine: Torpedo Pac

How long do the pacs last?

The Anti-Bac Mineral Pac lasts 6 months or one pool season whichever is shorter. The Torpedo Pac will last 1-3 weeks; depending on the size of the pool and how often the pool is used.

Why should I use Pool Wake Up! or Pool Hibernation?

This is an easy way to add the start-up chemicals your pool needs if you close your pool or don’t use it throughout the winter.   It contains a non-chlorine shock to rid the water of contaminants, a chlorine shock to create a chlorine level in the water and an algae preventative that keeps algae away for 90 days – Guaranteed! The same three products do a great job of closing the pool at the end of the season.

How does FROG Leap measure up to other pool sanitizing systems?

FROG has been sanitizing pools since 1997 and has hundreds of thousands of happy customers.  It is very effective, easy to use with pre-filled replacements, helps maintain the water with far less work and is reasonably priced.

They stem works great if yo have enough return from sand filter. The only problems are getting o rings, the green pins that go into the bottom of canister. The backwash vent rubber washer is now bad. You should offer replacement parts.

The Frog Leap system is the best filtering system we have ever used. I love the Fresh Mineral Water with very little chlorine use. I am so glad we went with the Frog system. It makes the water so much softer and at the end of the summer, I have spent less money on chemicals.

The result itself is fine; however, the machine has never worked properly. To achieve the appropriate amount of product in our pool, we must maintain the numeric indicator at almost or even -0-. But, as I said, we make do.

We installed our above ground pool August 26 2019, so we only had a month of use. We opened our pool May 12, 2020 & have used Frog Leap since. We’ve found that the Turbo Pac chlorine insert depletes way too fast even at setting of 1 plus it doesn’t deliver the chlorine level we prefer. At $22 plus for a pack, it’s quite an expensive up keep, plus you can only order from a dealer. The mineral insert I guess works fine but too early to tell a difference in water softness I’d we didn’t use it. We’ve had better results with a 5 in 1 3″ tablets in a floater. If you’re not worried about cost & looking for an easy way for chlorine maintenance, the Frog Leap is a good choice.

Not too thrilled, I was expecting less chemicals and a better water that doesn’t sting your eyes. While my pool water has always been clear, I am always adjusting the PH, Alkalinity, and Hardness. I also need Goggles as my eyes burn from the water. I am always adjusting the chlorine level too. I can never get it to stay in the .5 to 1 ppm range. Its either too low and water is cloudy or too high. In addition, I am starting to get a dark ring around my skimmer from the water level.

      Hi Philip,

I am sorry to hear about your frustration with the FROG Leap Infuzer.

When the pH, Total Alkalinity, and hardness are not balanced it can negatively affect the chlorines effectiveness and the stability of the water. I recommend getting the Alkalinity balanced first. Alkalinity is extremely important to a waters balance, it describes how “buffered” the water is against sudden changes in your pools pH. High Total Alkalinity, above 120 ppm, can cause cloudy water and pH lock, where changes to the water’s pH are resisted due to the high alkaline level in the pool. Low alkalinity level will often drive the pH level in the pool down, turning the pool water more acidic, resulting in itchy dry skin and irritated eyes.

I have attached a link that goes through easy steps to balancing your pools water.

The Frog system works perfectly. It keeps my pool clean and clear all summer long. All I need to do is add a new chlorine Bac Pac every two weeks and the system does the rest. No hassle. No worries. More time to enjoy the pool.

algae out product didn’t work this summer to make matters worse the seller just told me to keep shocking the pool daily and no refund given as product stated. Even though I brought the mineral pack. As for the unit itself I am still having trouble adjusting the dial it extremely hard to move.

This product has been the best combination BacPac and Minerals for my above ground pool. It is a set it and forget it type of deal. The only thing needed is to change out the chlorine pack every couple weeks. Love the product
