POOL FROG® Model 5400
Automatic Mineral Pool Care System for 10,000 - 40,000 Gallons.
If you’d rather spend your free time IN the pool than maintaining it, this system is for you. POOL FROG uses sanitizing minerals in conjunction with a very low level of chlorine to kill bacteria two ways. The result is Fresh Mineral Water®. It feels softer, looks clearer and takes far less time and effort to maintain. The bonus? It uses up to half the chlorine of standard water treatment systems—making it easier on skin, swimsuits and noses.
Additional Information
The POOL FROG sanitizing system uses a combination of minerals and a LOW level of chlorine that creates Fresh Mineral Water. It starts with the Cycler that is installed after the pump and filter. Then the Mineral Reservoir is inserted inside with minerals that destroy bacteria all summer long. The Bac Pac® goes in next and precisely dispenses the small amount of chlorine needed for each pool. Everything is pre-filled for no mess, no guess and no stress. Simply replace the Bac Pac every 1-3 weeks when empty and the Mineral Reservoir every 6 months. Less work leaves your pool for nothing but fun!

I just want to thank you for your excellent product. For years I have been going thru the constant head ache of maintaining my pool in South Florida. From yellow algae, cloudy water, to too much chlorine! You have produced a product that is virtually hands free and simple to use. Now my kids and I get to enjoy our pool instead of maintaining it constantly.

Just started using this system this year and so far I absolutely love it. We used to come home from vacation with all kinds of pool problems, this year came home and the water was clear as can be! I have it turned to the lowest setting and chlorine levels are just fine at a 1. It has been really hot so far this year and I have not seen even a little green around the ladder, which is where we would always find it by now. It was also a breeze to installCan’t say enough good things about it so far…..hope it lasts through many pool seasons.

I have been using Frog system (5400) since 2004 and had no problem with my pool. Yes we in Katy , TX get algae but Frog BAM helps keep the pool algae free.I order my parts from Leslie’s Pool Supply online and delivery is on time.

all we did was work, work, work on our pool. Since we got the frog system two year’s ago, we now enjoy, enjoy, enjoy our pool. Sure some work is involved but not like before. One of the best things is we don’t have to constantly fight algae – it’s great! And, we don’t spend a fortune in chemicals like we did before. Thanks soooo much.

The worst thing I ever purchased waste of money!! You can’t even find parts for it when you need them no local dealer carries them. If you buy this system it will be the worst purchase and waste of money you ever spend

I just visited my local Leslie’s Pool Supplies. They have a complete selection of chemicals for the Frog System. The Frog 5400 is the most hassle free, worry free systemon the market. I have a True L measuring 18x43x30 and it does a wonderful job all year long! Since I’ve had a chlorine pool before this one, I would recommend this system over salt or chlorine any day of the week.

I have been using the frog system for about 6 years or a little longer. At first I would cover my pool in the winter to save money on chemicals and electric bill. But I hated that by mid winter, the cover would start to look awful from leaf stains, and I hated having to use a sump pump to pump off the water collected on the cover during and after a rain. So I don’t cover the beauty of an uncovered pool during the winter. And honestly, during the entire winter in South Carolina where the average winter day is in the high to mid 40’s or the high to mid 50’s. Ith only cost me maybe $20.00 bucks a winter in chemicals because of water temp staying in the low 40’s because of our nights getting in the low 30’s. I now only use a leaf net during the heavy part of the leaves falling, and I have the beauty of a uncovered pool all year, and only using my pump in the early AM hours to prevent freezing of water lines or skimmer, just 4 hours a day every day until the spring. Then I will reset timer back to 12 on and 12 off every day during summer months. The Frog system is the only way I will go. Hope this helps for the ones that also hate covering their beautiful pool they have for the winter. Electric and chemical uses for the winter isn’t more than $40.00 a winter total!!!

I am on year 2 of using the Frog system and I am really enjoying it. The pool looks great and I am so glad I don’t have to deal with algae problems anymore. I highly recommend this system.
