FROG @ease Floating Weir is a complete sanitizing system. FROG Sanitizing Minerals^® in combination with SmartChlor, a unique, patented type of chlorine, kill bacteria with minerals and a low amount of chlorine. The System self-regulates – it maintains a consistent low chlorine level for weeks, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy easy water care in Cleaner, Clearer, Softer^® water.

Testing water is easier; the Out Indicator on FROG @ease Test Strips tells you when to replace your SmartChlor Cartridge.

In 2 seconds, you can know precisely whether your pH, Total Alkalinity and Total Hardness are balanced, plus whether or not your SmartChlor Cartrodge needs to be replaced. Simply dip the FROG @ease Test Strip into the water, remove with the pads facing up and shake once to remove the water from the test strip. Then hold it up next to the color chart on the back of the bottle to compare colors.

If the color on the top tab, the SmartChlor Out Indicator, is darker than the bottle label, the water is fine. If it is lighter it’s time to replace the SmartChlor Cartridge.

Hot tubs with 150 to 600 gallons are perfect for FROG @ease.

With bromine or traditional chlorine, you experience peaks and valleys in your sanitizing routine. When you add bromine or dichlor, the level spikes; when you use the tub, the level drops. This yo-yo method goes away with FROG @ease because it maintains a consistent, low chlorine level to keep the water sanitized all the time.

SmartChlor is a unique, patented type of chlorine. It will consistently maintain a 0.5 to 1.0 ppm chlorine level. This would not be enough on its own; but with FROG Sanitizing Minerals^®, it’s a perfect combination that kills bacteria to create Fresh Mineral Water∞ that’s cleaner, clearer and softer.

The Mineral Cartridge lasts 4 months or whenever the hot tub is drained and refilled. The SmartChlor Cartridge lasts 3-4 weeks depending on the size of your tub and how often it is used.

SmartChlor is slightly more expensive than dichlor but less than other systems. Consumers who have tried it tell us it is worth the money because it makes owning a hot tub extremely easy – less monitoring.
