  3. Remove the Pool FROG cap – for Model 5400 you can use the official cap tool counterclockwise.
  4. Pull out the empty or spent Pool FROG Bac Pac.
  5. Dispose of it safely according to local recycling or waste rules.
  6. Pry off the colored tab(s) on top of the new Pool FROG Bac Pac using pliers.

  8. Align legs by matching the small leg to the small opening and the large leg to the large opening of the Mineral Reservoir.
  9. Insert the pac securely down into the center of the Mineral Reservoir.
  10. Replace cap by hand only. Do not over-tighten and do not use the cap tool to tighten.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Pool FROG Bac Pac, prefilled with chlorine, lasts 2 to 3 weeks depending on the size of your pool and how often it is used.

Pool FROG Bac Pac is compatible with both the Pool FROG Model 5400 and Pool FROG Model 6100.

Remove the caps on the pac, flip upside down and place in the center of the Pool FROG Mineral Resevoir in your Pool FROG Model 5400 or 6100 Cycler, making sure the pac’s openings align properly inside. Once in place, replace the cap and hand-tighten.

The result is water that’s gentler on skin and free from the harsh, over-chlorinated feel of traditional pool care.
