Directions for Use

Clean and vacuum your pool. Skim any organic material from the pool, scrub the side walls to loosen any debris or algae and vacuum your pool.
Backwash and clean your filter. Remove all debris from pump basket.
Balance your water: Confirm chlorine levels are in the proper range, then check:
– pH: 7.2–7.8
– Alkalinity: 80-120 ppm
– Cyanuric acid: 20-80 ppm
Test your pool for high metal content. Ensure copper levels are under 0.2 ppm.
Ensure your pump is on and circulating water effectively.
Add FROG^® Algae Gone^® Pool Pod. Follow the product label for dosage levels and application instructions.
Swim Ready
– After 24 hours, clean and vacuum your pool
– Ensure water is balanced and confirm chlorine levels are in the proper range
– Backwash and clean the pool filter
– Once all steps are complete, your pool is safe to swim
After 24 hours remove and discard empty Pool Pod.
Prevent future algae growth. Once the pool is clear of algae, use FROG^® 90-Day Algae Barrier^® to prevent future outbreaks.

FROG Algae Gone is a fast-acting pool algae treatment that tackles yellow or green algae outbreaks head-on. This dry, concentrated, copper-based algae remover gets to work immediately — cutting through cloudy, green pool water and restoring it to sparkling, crystal clear. Whether you’re dealing with a minor algae problem or severe algae in your pool, FROG Algae Gone is the algaecide that gets the job done fast. Most similar products are liquids, which are diluted down and are about 90% water, requiring precise weekly dosing and are prone to spills and stains. FROG Pool Solutions address all these issues with dry Drop ‘n Go Pool Pods and less frequent dosing – 90 days for algae prevention and monthly for phosphate and cloudy water protection.

Raise your free chlorine level to between 2 and 4 ppm, adjust pH level to between 7.2 and 7.8, then just drop the prefilled pods in your pool skimmer basket. 1 pod per 10,000 gallons.

Each fast-acting pod will dispense in a few hours. The empty pod will float to the top of the skimmer, making it easy to remove and discard.
