  1. Install a Pool FROG Mineral Reservoir into the Pool FROG Cycler. (See page 15 of manual for directions.)
    IMPORTANT: Replace the Pool FROG Mineral Reservoir every 6 months or after one pool season, whichever is shorter. After that time, you will hear the spent media inside, however it is no longer effective and must be replaced.
  2. Replace cap and run Pool FROG Cycler, with Pool FROG Mineral Reservoir inserted, for 10 minutes on Setting Maximum.
  3. Insert FROG BAM into the open center of the Pool FROG Mineral Reservoir in the Pool FROG Cycler. (See page 16 of manual for directions).
  4. When chlorine reading is down to 1.0 ppm, which may take a few days, insert Pool FROG Bac Pac into the open center of the Pool FROG Mineral Reservoir. (See page 17 of manual for directions).

Helpful Tips

Lifespan: Replace the Mineral Reservoir every 6 months or after one pool season, whichever comes first. The time-released mineral coating is spent after 6 months of use.

Chlorine: This system is designed to work with a low level of chlorine from 0.5-1.0 ppm

The Pool FROG Mineral Reservoir will last 6 months or one pool season whichever is shorter before needing replacement.

The Mineral Reservoir 6100 is compatible with the Pool FROG Model 6100 Cycler.

Insert the Mineral Reservoir into your Pool FROG Model 6100 Cycler, making sure the slot aligns inside the Cycler. Once in place, twist the Cycler cap on and hand-tighten. Then go enjoy your pool!

1 Pool FROG Mineral Reservoir 6100

The Pool FROG Mineral Reservoir is a prefilled pool mineral cartridge designed to work as part of a complete pool mineral sanitizer system. It fits inside the Pool FROG Cycler and pairs with the Pool FROG Bac Pac to kill bacteria while maintaining a low chlorine level in your pool, so you can avoid harsh water and heavy odors.

The Pool FROG Mineral Reservoir contains active FROG Sanitizing Minerals® that control bacteria, neutralize acids, help keep pH balanced and condition the water for a softer, more comfortable feel. It’s an ideal solution for easier pool water care and maintaining a more enjoyable swimming experience.

The Mineral Reservoir has two types of minerals – one that actively kills bacteria and one that absorbs acids and conditions the water for softness. The active mineral’s effectiveness starts when the minerals are wetted and lasts 6 months. For winter climates where the pool season is less than 6 months, you replace the minerals every spring because once wetted and removed from the pool, the minerals are no longer effective.

While one of the minerals dissolves, the other mineral does not dissolve 100%; that is what you will hear or feel if you shake the Mineral Reservoir. This remaining mineral is not enough to properly sanitize the water and it must be discarded and replaced with a new Mineral Reservoir.

The Mineral Reservoir is unique. It contains FROG Sanitizing Minerals® that effectively kill bacteria. It is designed to work with the Pool FROG Bac Pac, which contains chlorine designed to maintain a low 0.5-1.0 ppm level – that’s up to 50% less* than traditional water treatments. No other system offers this unique combination that creates Fresh Mineral Water∞ in your pool.
