The idea is to have your hot tub, and the products you use, reduce stress and increase joy. In addition to replacing your SmartChlor® and Mineral Cartridges as recommended, here are a few other products designed to simplify your water care routine and enhance your experience.
FROG @ease Test Strips
FROG @ease Test Strips are designed specifically for the FROG @ease System and measure only what you need to know and adjust. Unlike traditional test strips, they don’t measure free chlorine because FROG @ease continuously maintains a low chlorine level of 0.5–1.0 ppm.
The test strips also feature an easy-to-read “Go/No-Go” indicator that lets you know when it’s time to replace your SmartChlor® Cartridge. Test your water at least once a week to make sure it stays balanced and your system is working properly.
FROG Balancing Basics® Kit
Balanced water is the foundation of great hot tub water. The FROG Balancing Basics Kit includes everything you need to adjust pH, Total Alkalinity and Total Hardness, plus a non-chlorine oxidizing shock.
Each product features the FROG TruDose Cap™ with built-in measurements to make dosing simple. The kit is compatible with all FROG sanitizing systems and includes a FROG VIP™ membership, giving you 1:1 access to FROG water care experts.
FROG Jump Start® Start-Up Shock
After filling your hot tub with fresh water and balancing it, use FROG Jump Start to quickly establish a chlorine level. This chlorine shock comes in a convenient single-dose pouch, so there’s no measuring or handling extra chemicals.
Simply open the pouch and pour it into the water. Its fast-dissolving, effervescent formula distributes evenly throughout the hot tub, helping you start with properly sanitized water before adding your FROG system.
FROG Maintain® Non-Chlorine Shock
For ongoing maintenance, use FROG Maintain, a non-chlorine shock that helps break down organic contaminants that can contribute to odors and cloudy water. Like FROG Jump Start, it comes in a convenient single-dose pouch. Simply pour it into the water, and your hot tub is ready to enjoy in about 15 minutes.
While traditional hot tub care may call for weekly shocking, FROG @ease works differently. Its self-regulating SmartChlor Technology maintains a low chlorine level, so we recommend using FROG Maintain once a month or whenever you replace your SmartChlor Cartridge.
FROG® Hot Tub Pipe & Jet Cleanser
Some hot tub build-up hides where you can’t see it. FROG Hot Tub Pipe & Jet Cleanser helps remove oils, lotions and other build-up from inside your hot tub’s plumbing for a more thorough clean.
Use it before draining and refilling your hot tub or when shutting it down for the season. The powerful gel formula is safe and effective for all hot tubs and is available in a multi-dose tube or convenient single-use packet.
FROG® Maintenance Products
Keep the rest of your hot tub looking as good as the water inside with FROG maintenance products. FROG Surface & Cover Cleaner, Defoamer, Metal Remover and Scrub Pad make routine hot tub care simple, from cleaning surfaces and covers to tackling foam and metals in the water.
