Directions for Use

Confirm you have the correct Mineral Chamber for your Cycler (check the box top and back label).
Remove and read the information card inside.
Turn off the pump and turn the control dial to Setting 0 (this reduces water flow into the unit when the cap is open).
Open the FROG Pool Tender Cycler cap.
Remove the Chlorine Chamber — if it’s not empty, set it aside or store it for winter. Then remove the old Mineral Chamber and discard it.
Find slot on side of FROG Pool Tender Mineral Chamber and line up with fin inside the FROG Pool Tender Cycler. Lower FROG Pool Tender Mineral Chamber into FROG Pool Tender Cycler until secure. Replace the FROG Pool Tender Chlorine Chamber inside the FROG Pool Tender Mineral Chamber to continue operating system.
Mark your calendar for the next 6 month replacement — once wetted, the mineral coating is effective for 6 consecutive months or one pool season (whichever is shorter). After that, even if you hear media inside, it’s no longer effective.

Safety note: Never use fast-dissolving chlorine tablets, liquid bleach or calcium hypochlorite in the FROG Pool Tender Cycler.

The FROG Pool Tender Mineral Chamber is exclusively designed to be used with the FROG Pool Tender System, specifically fitting inside the FROG Pool Tender Cycler.

The FROG Sanitizing Minerals go to work once they are wetted. The time-released mineral coating is effective for 6 months. After that time, even though there is media still inside the chamber, it is not longer effective for sanitization and must be replaced.

Insert into the FROG Pool Tender Cycler, making sure the slot on the chamber aligns with the inside the Cycler. Once in place, twist the Cycler cap back on and hand-tighten. Then enjoy your pool!
