For In-Line Systems: Open the in-line system cap on the top rail of the hot tub, push down and turn the cartridge holder counter-clockwise to unlock it and pull the holder out of the plumbing.

For Floating Systems: Remove the floating system from the hot tub and let the water drain from the cartridges.

  1. Remove old cartridge: Pull the old Mineral Cartridge from the cartridge holder and discard it.
  2. Set the new cartridge: Hold the bottom of the new FROG Serene Mineral Cartridge and turn the top until #6 appears in the setting window. No further adjustments are needed for the mineral portion.
  3. Install and secure: Snap the new cartridge into the cartridge holder.
  4. Return to service: Insert the in-line holder back into the in-line system or place the floating system directly into the hot tub water.

The Mineral Cartridge holds FROG’s proprietary blend of minerals. As water flows through the cartridge, the minerals are released slowly to help control bacteria, so your hot tub needs less bromine to stay clean.

This cartridge will last 4 months or until the hot tub is drained, whichever comes first.
