We have a 14ft Summer Escapes above ground pool. With the Flippin' Frog we don't have to use shock, excess chlorine, etc. The pool is up year round because of water restrictions in California. Couldn't refill it if we emptied it. Have had no problems with algae, etc. Great product. Highly recommend.

- Remove outer packaging from both the Mineral Cartridge and the Chlorine Cartridge.
- Line up arrow on Chlorine Cartridge with the unlock symbol on the Mineral Cartridge. Push together and twist to lock.
- Tether it to the pool side with the cord provided, away from the skimmer or a return jet.
Note: This product may be removed from the pool when in use. Lift out of the water and let drain into the pool. Then hang over the outside of the pool or place on the ground or a surface that is not susceptible to bleaching from the chlorine. Remember to replace the product once exiting the pool.
- When the product is almost empty, it will slowly flip over giving you a visual notice that it’s about time to replace. Do not remove the Chlorine Cartridge until the System has completely flipped.
- When it completely flips over replace by rotating the two cartridges until the arrows align along the edge of both cartridges and pull apart.
- If the Chlorine Cartridge contains a small amount of chlorine after the System has flipped over, hang on the tether via the hook on the side of the cartridge until completely empty. Do not allow Chlorine Cartridge to sink to the bottom or pool bleaching may occur.
- When completely empty, discard in trash or offer for recycling if available.

Simply twist the blue Chlorine Cartridge on to the green Mineral Cartridge until the arrow on the blue cartridge lines up with the setting number on the green cartridge. See the chart in your manual for the setting that’s right for your pool size . Then place it in the pool or tether it to the side. When the Chlorine Cartridge is depleted it will flip over — giving you a clear visual sign it needs replacing.
