If Chlorine Is Too High
- If chlorine is above 3.0 ppm
Take the Flippin’ FROG® out of the pool and store it safely away from children, pets, metal objects, and open flames. Wait until the level drops to about 1.0 ppm. - Adjust the setting
Turn the dial down one number and test the water again after 24 hours. Repeat if needed.
If you’re already at the lowest setting and chlorine is still too high, the Flippin’ FROG may be too large for your pool. - Consider pool usage
If the pool isn’t used often, it needs less chlorine. Cooler temperatures (like in spring) can also lower chlorine demand. Try turning the dial down further and running the pump less until your normal usage resumes.
