Fix Low Chlorine or Bromine in Your Hot Tub

If Chlorine or Bromine Is Too Low

Make sure your water is properly balanced. Water balance is critical to proper sanitization.

When out of the ideal ranges of 7.2-7.6 for pH, 80-120 for Total Alkalinity and 150-250 for Total Hardness, chlorine becomes ineffective.

The further out of balance, the less effective the chlorine will be. Water that is out of balance can also damage hot tub surfaces and be harsh on skin.

FROG Balancing Basics® Kit includes everything you need to balance your water.
